This vintage to antique stock pin is most likely of European provenance. It is 14 kt yellow gold and is embellished with a fox mask form boasting two diamond eyes. The old cut diamonds measure 1.5mm or about 0.03 carats each. The mask measures 5/8" x 1/2", and has a striking but subtle presence. The entire pin weighs about eight grams and is 2 3/4" long. Judging from the diamond cuts and the clasp it could be early Edwardian. It is hallmarked 14 ct on the reverse, the C clasp is tight with a secure lever safety catch. It is in excellent condition, has a lovely patina and is ready for you to wear during a fox hunt and a brooch to carry into a night out.
