With the margin punches encircling this solid brass medallion, it is made more wonderful with the running fox in the center. We believe that this brass was used for the purpose for which it was intended that of decorating the bridles of draft horses. If one looks very closely one will see an interesting bit of wear on the upper right quarter of the circle. These are wonderful to collect, use as decor or perfect for paperweights.
