This pair of English Jacobean Revival candlesticks are of oak and brass and in barley twist form. There is a slight flattened area on one of the cups but otherwise they are in near pristine condition. Of known provenance, they are from the estate of Jane H Roesch, the owner of the esteemed Merryville Antiques, Pittsburg, PA and a contributor to the Carnegie Museum of Art. She was the widow of William Roesch, a US Steel CEO. They are 10" tall, and the bases are 5" wide, the brass caps are 2" across. They are solid and a lovely addition to a collection, library, hunt home decor or a hunt box.
