Candlesticks - Barley Twist Form English Oak - Jacobean Revival c. 1820 - Known Provenance
This pair of English Jacobean Revival candlesticks are of oak and brass and in barley twist form. They are in near pristine condition and are of known provenance. They are from the estate of Jane H Roesch, the owner of the esteemed Merryville Antiques, Pittsburg, PA and a contributor to the Carnegie Museum of Art. She was the widow of William Roesch, a US Steel CEO. They are 10" tall, and the bases are 5" wide, the brass caps are 2" across. They are solid and a lovely addition to a collection, library, hunt home decor or a hunt box.
