These are highly sought door stops. Marked 1949, JZH for John Zimmerman Harker and DS1, for door stop, this vintage cast iron piece was made by the Union Manufacturing Company of Bowertown, PA, and entails wonderful details of fox hunting. From the fox's mask surrounded by tall hunt boots and a pair of hunt whips, it is crowned at the top by grape vines. This door stop is heavy, about nine pounds, measures over 11" tall, 6 1/4" across, 4 1/4" deep and is in excellent condition. a wonderful piece of sporting decor!
