This doorknocker is brass, is manufactured in a fox hunting motif, and measures 3 1/2" tall. Packed with detail from the fox mask and whip atop the knocker, to the mounted hunter taking a hedge to the wish, "Good Luck" at the base all surrounded by a horseshoe, make for the perfect doorknocker. These doorknockers were used on internal doors and date to the early 20th century. What a wonderful architectural detail this would make for any home or hunt box.
