Cane - Sidesaddle Cane with Sterling Silver Collar and Antler Handle

This piece has a known provenance. It was acquired from the Frank and Genevieve Farris estate in Nashville, Tennessee. The rolled sterling silver neck is monogrammed "Cecilia". Cecilia was Genevieve's sister and an avid sidesaddle rider and fox hunter with the Hillsboro Hounds. The shaft is of an extremely strong hardwood with expected minimal wear that is consistent with this lovely vintage piece.  The leather loop end is soft and supple and held securely with thick roping to the cane's shaft. The head is stag horn.  It measures 33" and is ready to add to your collection or for immediate use.
