Ink Well Vintage Brass Horse Head and Horseshoe Form

This piece is from Portugal and is vintage.  It is a solid brass ink well with the brass well inside of the opening.  The piece is heavy and is in detailed horse head and horseshoe form. The top over the ink well opens easily and the unattached well is intact. It appears that the pin, a bit sharp on the top edge, in the hinge has been replaced. It measures 4 1/2" side to side and 4" from top to bottom and measures 1 1/2" tall at it tallest point. It sits levelly and is ready for your collection.
