Sandwich Case With Complete Contents- James Dixon and Son - Vintage Ladies
This outstanding vintage, c. 1930 James Dixon and Son of England piece comes from the estate of Jane H. Roesch of Pittsburg, PA. Mrs. Roesch was the widow of William Roesch, CEO of US Steel, the owner of the esteemed Merryville Antiques Shop and donor to the Carnegie Museum of Art. The ladies butternut color leather case lined in chamois is in excellent condition and is complete with its silver wash sandwich box and crystal and silver wash ladies flask with bayonet cap. Both pieces are nearly pristine as is the leather case and everything fits snugly. It is engraved with the block letters, "SSR". This is a coveted sandwich case.
