We have curated a wonderful piece of Pony Club history. The Middle Tennessee Pony Club boasts the longest running pony trials in North America and is almost 70 years old. This trophy from one of those trials in 1971 is a plexiglass cube with a silver colored fox posed atop a beautiful piece of natural crystal. It measures about 3 1/2" across, 3 1/8" tall and 2 7/8" deep and has a very few superficial scratches on the sides and back. On the front is a plaque noting, "M.T.P.C. 1971 1st YR GREEN WORKING HUNTER CHAMPION." According to the June 20, 1971 Nashville Tennessean newspaper article, the winner was Leslie Colley on Paper Poppy . This is a unique piece of equine ephemera, would make a great decorative conversation piece or serve as a paper weight in your home or office.
