This is a lovely vintage brooch. It is 14kt yellow gold in a snaffle bit form and embellished with a reverse carved and painted crystal. The crystal shows an image of a hunter in scarlet taking a fence on a bay horse. It is encased in 14kt yellow gold. The pin measures 1 1/2" in length, is marked for gold content on the reverse and is in great condition. This would be the most wonderful gift for the equestrian or lover of the art form of reverse carved crystals.
