This is a collection of English or Welsh horse brasses on leather. The brasses tell the story of Jenny Jones, a Welsh barmaid about whom a song was written, the fox mask, wheat sheathes giving a nod to the rural lifestyle and of course the necessary sun. This brass collection certainly tells the story of rural life in Wales or England. The leather and buckle are in good condition. The reverse of the leather has a crack, the leather hangs securely. It measures 19" long and 2 1/2-3" wide.
