Side Saddle Cane Ash Wood with Sterling Silver Collar

This is a side saddle cane of English provenance with versatility. From the rustic sterling silver hallmarked collar to its strong Ash shaft, the uniqueness of this cane is that is can easily accompany you as you fox hunt and is correct for the show ring.  This vintage sidesaddle cane is 32" long, has a bone handle and a supple leather receiver. The receiver has an opening that will readily take a thong. The shaft is carved in graduated sections with the widest at the top. The handle is a bit off center but is strongly attached to the shaft and secured with the silver collar.  Make this your own to use in the hunt field or show ring.
