Antique Meerschaum Prancing Horse in Original Case

This very lovely German Meerschaum (German meaning "sea foam") probably dates from the late 19th century and is beautifully decorated with a hand carved prancing horse. It comes with its original case denoting in German that it is a "Guaranteed Meerschaum".  It measures 3" long, still faintly retains a soft tobacco fragrance, and it, along with the case, are in outstanding antique condition. It is a must for the collector, horse lover, and one who appreciates the art of hand wrought treasures.
