The Bachelor Hall prints were a humorous look at bachelors fox hunting. The original paintings were by Francis Calcraft Turner, 1782-1846, a British artist of the early 19th century with the prints done by George Hunt. The prose is by Charles Dibdin, 1745-1814. It is presented under glass in a 3/8" rustic wood frame showing some black paint loss. The print shows age related foxing on the bottom left corner and along the right edge. It measures 14" x 10 1/2" with a 3/8" frame. The complete six set series recently sold for about $1,000 via Athey Antiques, Northumberland, England.
