This is a beautiful stock pin, so beautiful in fact that it would be lovely worn as an accessory. The pin catch is a C-catch with a safety dating the piece from c. 1809-1920; it is tight. The pin is makers marked for Sloan and Company shown beside the14kt hallmark. It is yellow with white gold handle and neck form details and measures 2 1/2" long making it perfect for the hunt field or show ring. The reverse carved crystal fox mask form is striking and encased in 14kt gold as well and shows import marks on the reverse. The glass dome is clear as is the image. The entire piece weighs 5.41 grams, and a perfect gift to a fox or equestrian lover.
