Printed in 1949, this little bedside book compiled by Lady Apsley is full of stories of fox hunting primarily in England. Some are informative, some humorous and all entertaining. The book jacket is intact and further protected with clear cellophane. The book is free of odors, all pages are yellowed with age, printing is very clear, pages and spine are intact and the second photo shows an example of the several sketches throughout the book. It measures 7 1/4” tall, 4 3/4” across and 7/8” wide, making it the perfect size to keep at your bedside. This is a wonderful study of fox hunting in it’s heyday and would make the most perfect gift for the fox hunter or collector of vintage and antique books.
