These horse brasses were used to embellish the bridles of draft horses, but they were also used, and still are, to decorate pubs. They are great decorative pieces and this one was made in England as noted on the back. The English crown is shown surrounded with laurel leaves. It measures about 3 3/8" tall and 2 3/4" side to side. This would look fantastically in a library, study, an office or anywhere you want a touch of Great Britian.
