Bronze - In the Manner of Antoine Bofill - Jockey Taking a Hedge
This bronze is in the manner of Antoine Bofill (1894-1953), a French sculptor noted for his attention to detail. Our jockey taking a hedge on his racing steed shows the detail of the old style jockey cap and silks, and the sinew of the horse's effort over a formidable hedge. It is signed on the base, measures 16" wide, 16 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" deep and is of substantial weight. This would fit beautifully in a library or along with a collection of racing memorabilia.
