What an outstanding find! This vintage gentleman's fox hunting flask with leather holster is from the estate of Jane H. Roesch, owner of Merryvale Antiques, Shadyside, Pittsburg, PA. She was the widow of William Roesch, CEO of US Steel and was a contributor to the Carnegie Museum of Art. The flask with a bayonet silver plate cap is marked, "Made in England for Brooks Brothers NY" and ""Swaine and Adeney". The holster is beautifully stitched and shows very little use with the exceptions of some spotting. The leather is in wonderful condition boasting a lovely butternut color with the overall piece ready for use. What a fantastic appointment to be seen on a saddle fox hunting or to present as an outstanding gift to the fox hunter and lover of vintage pieces. We love this set!
