Snuff Box Victorian Sterling Silver with Hunting Scene and Chatelain

This wonderful and most unique snuff box features a stag/deer hunting scene. On one side of the powder horn form box is the mounted hunter and on the other, the deer. It is sterling silver, with lovely patina, of a very nice weight, and features a chatelain attached to the box's loop. The top is beautifully engraved in a floral scroll form and has the attached teardrop form clasp. The box measures just under 2" long and including the 2 1/2" chatelain the entire piece is over 4" in total. It would also make a lovely pendant. This is truly a unique snuff box from the 19th century, a must for the collector, the horse or hunt lover.
