We love our bar/stock pins and this beauty is a perfect example of why. This antique Cincinnati estate piece was designed by and marked for Sloan and Company, founded 1895 in New York City. In hunt whip form, it is 14 kt yellow gold and measures 1 3/4” long. It is in lovely condition with the detailed reverse carved and painted crystal (intaglio) encased in 14 kt gold, with a probable import mark and glass dome that is fee of scratches. The image is of a hunter on his bay mount taking a rail wearing his best hunting pink, top hat and tan topped tall boots. The C hinge with locking mechanism dates it to between 1910-1920’s. The pin is ready for you to wear in the hunt field or as an accessory focal point.
