This is a lovely and unique sterling silver stock pin with much detail. It is in the form of a hunt whip with thong, but what makes it so interesting is that the head of the whip form is a hound! Embellished with a reverse intaglio (carved crystal) medallion encased in silver is the image of the profile of a bay horse complete with bridle and reins. It measures just over a generous 2 3/4" and is marked for sterling on the reverse.
